Bucket elevator

Bucket elevators are one of the most widely used systems for conveying solids and where the risk of dust explosion is always present. In order of decreasing order of hazard, products such as wheat and its gluten, rice flour, maize and oats can cause these ‘accidents’. In the United States, more than 20 elevator explosions occur annually, causing considerable personal injury and loss of company assets.
