Domed Vent Panel [BRD]

Domed explosion vents with rectangular geometry, designed for equipment and processes that must withstand vacuum conditions and/or pulsating pressures. They are suitable for equipment such as pneumatically filled silos, suction filters, cyclones, and other equipment with deflagration hazards and vacuum resistance requirements.

The BRD model offers an effective solution to release the pressure generated by an explosion in a controlled way, directing overpressure, flames and incandescent particles to a safe area, without projection of fragments. Its main function is to prevent the structural strength of the protected equipment from being exceeded, thus minimizing the risk of material and personal damage.

These panels are made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, with a calibrated break pattern and a perimeter sealing system that ensures watertightness during normal operation. They are certified according to EN 14797:2006 and EN 14994:2007, and are compatible with organic and metal powders up to St3, as well as Group IIA gases.
