NOVEx II – Flap Isolation Valve

The NOVEx II flap valve is a mechanical isolation system designed to stop the spread of an explosion through process ducts, protecting the rest of the facility.

The NOVEx II Flap Valve is a passive mechanical isolation system designed to stop the spread of an explosion through process ducts, protecting the rest of the facility.

During a deflagration, the overpressure generated pushes the flapper, which closes instantly and blocks the passage of flame and combustion gases, preventing them from reaching equipment located upstream, such as silos, cyclones or filters.

The NOVEx II can be installed in horizontal or vertical ducts (up to 90°), both in pressure (“push”) and suction (“pull”) applications. Its compact design makes it easy to integrate into tight spaces, and its normally open flap configuration significantly reduces pressure loss during normal system operation.

It is available with a wide range of accessories that allow you to monitor its operating status and ensure reliable performance over time: position sensors, wear, dust accumulation and automatic cleaning system.
