Flat Vent Panel [BRP]

Flat explosion vents with rectangular geometry, designed for atmospheric process systems without vacuum or with low vacuum, and without the presence of pulsating pressures. They are suitable for equipment such as mechanically filled silos, bucket elevators, filters, dryers, and other enclosed containers.

BRP panels act as a passive safety element that, in the event of an explosion, opens at a predetermined burst pressure, releasing overpressure, flames and incandescent particles into a safe area in a controlled manner, without the emission of fragments. Its function is to preserve the integrity of the protected equipment by preventing the design resistance of the equipment from being exceeded and to reduce the risk of damage to people and facilities.

Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, the panels feature a calibrated break pattern and sealing system to prevent leakage under normal operating conditions. They are suitable for organic, metallic (up to St3) and Group IIA gases and are certified according to European standards EN 14797:2006 and EN 14994:2007
