Trapezoidal Vent Panel [BTP]

Flat type explosion vents with trapezoidal geometry, specially designed to be integrated into the roof sectors of storage silos.
Suitable for atmospheric processes without vacuum or with low vacuum, and without the presence of pulsating pressures.

BTP panels act as a passive safety system that, in the event of an explosion, opens at a predefined burst pressure, releasing overpressure, flames and incandescent particles into a safe area in a controlled manner, without the emission of fragments. This planned opening protects the equipment structure and minimizes risks to personnel and the facility.

Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, they incorporate a calibrated break pattern and a perimeter sealing system that guarantees tightness under normal operating conditions.
They are certified according to EN 14797:2006 and are suitable for organic and metallic dusts with an explosive rating up to St1.
