The TES-01 V2 system ensures safe grounding of tankers during loading and unloading operations of non-conductive liquids or dusts, where there is a risk of electrostatic charge build-up.
By connecting the ground clamp to the vehicle’s connection point, the system measures the electrical resistance between the clamp and the control unit to verify the formation of a conductive circuit. If the resistance is low enough, the TES-01 V2 enables the safe discharge of electrostatic charges to the ground, thus preventing the generation of sparks. The system then checks the electrical capacity at the connection point. Only if it corresponds to that of a tanker truck, the green status light comes on and the loading or unloading process is enabled. In the event of a disconnection or loss of continuity, the system activates a red status signal and locks the operation by means of an interlock relay.
