At ADIX we have our own test field which allows us to carry out specific tests under controlled conditions, validate design hypotheses and obtain key technical data for decision-making.
Our tests allow us to verify design hypotheses, characterize hazardous substances, validate ventilation conditions or check the suitability of materials and equipment installed in classified areas.
What kind of tests and measurements do we perform?
In collaboration with recognized laboratories, we determine key properties such as Kst, Pmax, minimum ignition energy (MIE), minimum explosive concentration (MEC) or deflagration rate.
We evaluate the actual flow rate in areas with a risk of explosion to confirm if the ventilation conditions are sufficient and validate the classification of zones.
We analyse the influence of electric or magnetic fields on ATEX equipment to verify electromagnetic compatibility and avoid faults that can generate ignition sources.
We check the conductivity of surfaces exposed to combustible dust, in order to avoid accumulations of electrostatic charge that can act as a source of ignition.
