Reinforced flat vents, specifically designed for applications with extremely explosive Group IIC gases, such as hydrogen (H₂).
They are particularly suitable for battery rooms, charging cabinets or technical rooms where explosive atmospheres can be generated by the accumulation of H₂ during the charging process.
BRH panels act as a passive safety element that, in the event of an explosion, opens at a predetermined burst pressure, releasing overpressure, flames and incandescent particles into a safe area in a controlled manner, without the emission of fragments. This controlled opening protects the structure of the enclosure and significantly reduces the risk to people and the facility.
Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, they have a calibrated break pattern and a perimeter sealing system that guarantees watertightness during normal operation. Their reinforced construction makes them especially resistant to the high deflagration rate and overpressure characteristic of hydrogen.
They meet the requirements of EN 14994:2007 and are certified for Group IIC gases.
