Reinforced flat explosion vent panels designed specifically for applications with extremely explosive Group IIC gases such as hydrogen (H₂). They are especially suitable for battery rooms, charging cabinets and technical enclosures where explosive atmospheres can form from H₂ buildup during charging.
BRH explosion vent panels act as a passive safety device: in the event of an explosion, the panel opens at a predetermined burst pressure and safely releases the overpressure, flames and burning particles toward a safe area, without fragmentation. This controlled opening protects the structure of the enclosure and significantly reduces the risk to people and the facility.
Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, they feature a calibrated rupture pattern and a perimeter sealing system that ensures tightness during normal operation. Their reinforced construction makes them especially resistant to the high deflagration speed and overpressure typical of hydrogen. They meet the requirements of EN 14994:2007 and are certified for Group IIC gases.
