Multi-Layer Domed Vent [BRDM]

Multi-layer domed type explosion vents with rectangular geometry, specifically designed for equipment operating under high vacuum pressures. They are particularly suitable for suction filters, cyclones, separators and industrial vacuum processes with high vacuum, where the vacuum conditions exceed the capacity of conventional panels.

The BRDM model combines a multi-layer structure with a domed design that gives it superior mechanical strength without compromising its ventability. In the event of an explosion, the panel opens at a calibrated burst pressure, releasing overpressure, flames and incandescent particles into a safe area, without fragmentation. This panel protects the structural integrity of the equipment, preventing material damage and risks to personnel.

Manufactured with a double layer of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, BRDM panels have a predetermined break pattern and a perimeter sealing system that guarantees watertightness under normal operating conditions. They are certified according to EN 14797:2006 and are compatible with organic and metallic powders up to St3.
