Multi-layer domed rectangular explosion vent panels designed specifically for equipment operating under high vacuum. They are especially suitable for suction filters, cyclones, separators and high-vacuum industrial suction processes where vacuum conditions exceed the capacity of conventional panels.
The BRDM model combines a multi-layer structure with a domed design that gives it superior mechanical strength without compromising its venting capacity. In the event of an explosion, the panel opens at a calibrated burst pressure and safely releases the overpressure, flames and burning particles toward a safe area, without fragmentation. The panel protects the structural integrity of the equipment, preventing property damage and risks to personnel.
Made with a double layer of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, BRDM explosion vent panels have a predetermined rupture pattern and a perimeter sealing system that ensures tightness under normal operating conditions. They are certified to EN 14797:2006 and are compatible with organic and metal dusts up to St3.
