Extension of the certificate of NOVEx flap valves for metal powder

Since the first version of the flap valve created by Adix, 10 years have passed during which development has been continuous to improve explosion protection

The Adix NOVEx flap isolation valve is the result of the evolution of our first VEX project in explosion protection. Since then, its design and performance have been perfected through new opening and closing systems, materials and accessories, resulting in a useful and reliable device for different industries that handle combustible dust.

New single certificate

The new certificate for our NOVEx valve also allows it to be used in installations with combustible metal dust, being until now certified for organic dust. Thus, in the same design, adaptability to both types of combustible substances has been sought, which has been achieved, mainly, thanks to the possibility of adjusting the flapper.
