Ten years have passed since Adix created its first flap valve, years of continuous development to improve explosion protection

The Adix NOVEx explosion isolation flap valve is the result of the evolution of our first explosion protection project, VEX. Since then, its design and performance have been refined with new opening and closing systems, materials and accessories, resulting in a useful and reliable device for the many industries that handle combustible dust.

New single certificate

The new certificate for our NOVEx valve also allows it to be used in facilities with combustible metal dust; until now, it was certified for organic dust only. The goal was a single design suitable for both types of combustible substances, achieved mainly thanks to the adjustable flap.
