Flat circular explosion vent panels designed for atmospheric process systems with no vacuum or low vacuum and no pulsating pressure. Their simple, efficient design makes them ideal for equipment such as mechanically filled silos, bucket elevators, dust collectors, dryers, hoppers and other closed vessels.
The BCP model acts as a passive safety device: in the event of an explosion, it opens at a calibrated burst pressure and safely releases the overpressure, flames and burning particles toward a safe area, without fragmentation. This design allows a safe discharge that protects equipment and improves operational safety.
Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, BCP explosion vent panels have a predefined rupture pattern and a tight sealing system along the rupture line. They are certified to the European standards EN 14797:2006 and EN 14994:2007 and are compatible with organic and metal dusts up to St2, as well as Group IIA gases.
