Domed rectangular explosion vent panels designed for equipment and processes that must withstand vacuum conditions and/or pulsating pressure. They are suitable for equipment such as pneumatically filled silos, suction filters, cyclones and other equipment with deflagration hazards and vacuum resistance requirements.
The BRD model provides an effective way to release the pressure generated by an explosion in a controlled manner, directing the overpressure, flames and burning particles toward a safe area, without fragmentation. Its main purpose is to prevent the structural strength of the protected equipment from being exceeded, minimizing the risk of property damage and personal injury.
These explosion vent panels are made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, with a calibrated rupture pattern and a perimeter sealing system that keeps them tight during normal operation. They are certified to EN 14797:2006 and EN 14994:2007 and are compatible with organic and metal dusts up to St3, as well as Group IIA gases.
