Explosion Detection System – SUDetP

The SUDetP detector is an essential component of active explosion protection and isolation systems. It is compatible with chemical suppression and isolation systems, and with mechanical isolation using a knife gate valve or a pneumatic valve.

The SUDetP detector is an essential component of active explosion protection and isolation systems. It is compatible with chemical suppression and isolation systems, and with mechanical isolation using a knife gate valve or a pneumatic valve.

This sensor continuously monitors the process pressure and detects, within milliseconds, the overpressure typical of an incipient explosion. Its fast response allows the protection system to be triggered immediately, either to suppress the deflagration or to isolate it and prevent it from spreading to other areas of the facility.

Its robust design, certified for explosive gas and dust atmospheres, makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments where reliability and fast response are critical.
