Flat rectangular explosion vent panels designed for atmospheric process systems with no vacuum or low vacuum and no pulsating pressure. They are suitable for equipment such as mechanically filled silos, bucket elevators, dust collectors, dryers and other closed vessels.

BRP explosion vent panels act as a passive safety device: in the event of an explosion, the panel opens at a predetermined burst pressure and safely releases the overpressure, flames and burning particles toward a safe area, without fragmentation. Its purpose is to preserve the integrity of the protected equipment by keeping the pressure below its design strength and to reduce the risk of harm to people and facilities.

Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, the panels feature a calibrated rupture pattern and a sealing system that prevents leaks under normal operating conditions. They are suitable for organic and metal dusts (up to St3) and Group IIA gases, and are certified to the European standards EN 14797:2006 and EN 14994:2007.
