Reinforced flat rectangular explosion vent panels designed for atmospheric process systems that require additional resistance to medium vacuum and occasional pulsating pressure. Their reinforced structure makes them especially suitable for pneumatically filled silos, dust collectors, dryers, cyclones and other vessels exposed to dynamic pressure conditions.
The BRS model features specific scoring and an optimized rupture pattern that prevents the cuts from deforming and the seal from losing tightness, even under the unstable pressure conditions typical of the process. Thanks to this structural improvement, the panel remains stable in demanding conditions and ensures controlled opening in the event of an explosion.
Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, BRS explosion vent panels have a calibrated rupture pattern and a perimeter sealing system to ensure tightness during normal operation. They are certified to EN 14797:2006 and are suitable for organic and metal dusts (up to St3).
