Trapezoidal Explosion Vent Panel [BTP]

Flat trapezoidal explosion vent panels, specially designed to fit the roof sections of storage silos. Suitable for atmospheric processes with no vacuum or low vacuum and no pulsating pressure.

Flat trapezoidal explosion vent panels, specially designed to fit the roof sections of storage silos. Suitable for atmospheric processes with no vacuum or low vacuum and no pulsating pressure.

BTP explosion vent panels act as a passive safety system: in the event of an explosion, the panel opens at a predefined burst pressure and safely releases the overpressure, flames and burning particles toward a safe area, without fragmentation. This planned opening protects the structure of the equipment and minimizes risks to personnel and the facility.

Made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, they incorporate a calibrated rupture pattern and a perimeter sealing system that ensures tightness under normal operating conditions. They are certified to EN 14797:2006 and are suitable for organic and metal dusts with an explosibility class up to St1.
