Testing and
Measurement
At ADIX, we have our own testing ground which allows us to carry out specific tests under controlled conditions, validate design assumptions and obtain key technical data for decision-making.
Our tests make it possible to verify design assumptions, characterize hazardous substances, validate ventilation conditions or check the suitability of materials and equipment installed in classified areas.

What kinds of testing and measurement do we perform?

Working with recognized laboratories, we determine key properties such as Kst, Pmax, minimum ignition energy (MIE), minimum explosible concentration (MEC) and deflagration rate.
We measure the actual airflow in areas with explosion hazards to confirm whether ventilation is sufficient and to validate the area classification.
We analyze the influence of electric or magnetic fields on hazardous-location equipment to verify electromagnetic compatibility and prevent failures that could create ignition sources.
We check the conductivity of surfaces exposed to combustible dust to prevent electrostatic charge buildup that could act as an ignition source.
Testing and measurement allow us to validate what is happening at your facility with real, first-hand, traceable data.
