Truck Grounding System

The TES-01 V2 system ensures safe grounding of tanker trucks during loading and unloading of non-conductive liquids or powders, where there is a risk of electrostatic charge buildup.

The TES-01 V2 system ensures safe grounding of tanker trucks during loading and unloading of non-conductive liquids or powders, where there is a risk of electrostatic charge buildup.

When the grounding clamp is connected to the vehicle’s connection point, the system measures the electrical resistance between the clamp and the control unit to verify that a conductive circuit has been formed. If the resistance is low enough, the TES-01 V2 allows electrostatic charges to dissipate safely to ground, preventing sparks. The system then checks the electrical capacitance at the connection point. Only if it matches that of a tanker truck does the green status light come on and loading or unloading is enabled. If the connection is lost or continuity is interrupted, the system switches to a red status signal and stops the operation through an interlock relay.
