Adix Ingeniería Is a Beneficiary of the ‘Innova – Adelante Program’
Objective:
The main objective of the project is to develop and optimize a new flameless venting system for explosion protection of industrial equipment installed indoors. The aim is to redesign the system from a cubic to a flat geometry, reducing its thickness and size without losing effectiveness, which will make the equipment more compact, versatile and easier to adapt to different industrial installations.
Results:
A new, safer flameless explosion vent prototype, certified under ATEX and EN standards, with four gas outlets instead of two, which improves gas dispersion, lowers the pressure per panel and increases personnel safety. Its performance with metal dusts is also improved thanks to a new stainless steel in the flame arrester screens.
