Learn more about the new Adix NOVEx II flap valve for passive explosion isolation

ATEX certification (certificate LOM22atex1035x) of the new NOVEx valve, in accordance with EN 16447:2014 and EN 15089:2009, was carried out by LOM España (Notified Body) using the following parameters:

  • Valve with the flap open.
  • Valve in vertical position, allowing installation from 0 to 90°.
  • Tests of automatic valve activation by explosion pressure.
  • Valve installed in ducts with double elbows.
  • Sizes tested up to 49.2" (1250 mm) in diameter.
  • Combustible substance: dust up to St3.
  • Push and pull positions.

All tests were performed with a pipe installed downstream of the valve.
