Explosion test of a vent panel for ATEX certification

After more than 12 years manufacturing ATEX-certified explosion vent panels, Adix Ingeniería offers a broad product range to protect equipment such as baghouse dust collectors, cyclones, storage silos and bucket elevators

Workplace safety is an essential requirement that every industry must be aware of and responsible for. Explosion vent panels are one of the key protection systems in facilities across many industries: in the event of an explosion, they direct it to a safe area, preventing damage to property and injuries to people.

New single certificate

All Adix Ingeniería explosion vent panels are ATEX certified. In 2019, all these certificates were unified into a single certificate. All our panels are now covered by the same certificate, making it easier for our customers to access the documentation: one document contains all the information needed about this equipment.

The panel names have also been updated to make them easier to identify:

  • Flat rectangular: BRP
  • Flat circular: BCP
  • Flat trapezoidal: BTP
  • Domed rectangular: BRD
  • Domed circular: BCD
  • Multi-layer domed rectangular: BRDM

Adix Ingeniería manufactures protection equipment in accordance with the European standardEN 14491and the USFDArequirements for use in the food industry. They are manufactured at our facilities in Spain and are certified for combustible dusts with explosibility class up to St 3, including metal dust.

Standard-size panels can be used at temperatures from -4 °F to +158 °F (-20 °C to +70 °C). All models can be manufactured with special gaskets for operating temperatures up to 752 °F (400 °C).

Adix explosion vent panels are covered by ATEX certificate LOM18ATEX1021X
