What’s New in the Truck Grounding System
Loading and unloading tanker trucks that carry flammable liquids or combustible powders can generate static electricity that ignites these substances.
The TES-01 truck grounding system from Stuvex controls static discharges to prevent an explosion at the facility.
The new generation of this system, TES-01 V2, is certified not only to ATEX but also to IECEx, providing greater safety for your facility. Its operating temperature range has also been extended at both low and high temperatures.
The TES-01 V2 grounding system is easy to install, and its features include:
- Safe electrostatic discharge of the vehicle.
- Grounding clamp resistance measurement.
- Vehicle capacitance verification.
- Display with red and green indicator lights.
- Potential-free contact to enable loading and unloading.
- Standard 100–240 V AC or 24 V DC supply.
- Control unit available in Ex gas or dust versions.
